GSA’s Youth in the Promotion of Agriculture activity on October 18, 2019

Agriculture Month 2019 at the Guyana School of Agriculture: GSA’s Youth in the Promotion of Agriculture activity held on October 18.
As part of the traditional activities organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in celebration of Agriculture Month, the institution hosts an annual Open Day for students of visiting secondary schools. There is usually a talk delivered to the students in the Plant Science Building, as well as displays on the School’s grounds, put on by the various departments, and other state agricultural entities.
This year, the talk was delivered by the Hon. Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture,Hon. Valerie Patterson Yearwood. There was a record turnout of students and schools who accepted the invitation to attend this year’s Open Day.
